Angklung is a traditional music instrument from Indonesia,
especially from West Java, It is a part of Sundanesse culture.
Angklung is realy famous, not only in Indonesia but world know
it too. I think this is an easiest music instrument in the world, because
everybody can play it.
It was April 23rd 2015. Me, my classmates and my friends
from X Science 1 was invited to break the record at Stadion Siliwangi that near
from my school. And what would we do: We would just playing angklung, with
another 19.999 people.
It was an event of Asian African Carnaval that is the part
of Asian African Conference that held from 19th-26th April 2015. It would break
the record of the most people in playing angklung in the same place and the
same time, there was 20.000 people in target.
We arrived in Siliwangi and there were a lot of people,
students was mayority, so we make a line until the gate of Siliwangi, but It
was a long standing, One that made me fed up was when there was a school that
stand near from me that noisy and they was disorganized in make a line. But my
school was pulled and we can entered the building from VIP gate but we got
seperated with some of our friend but finally we can assamle again in the
building, at the center of football field.
We got a shirt , consumption and ofcourse an angklung, and
we got it FREE, so we wear the shirt and start to play the angklung.
It was a realy hot
day, we were dry in the sun at the center of field, but we were realy enthusias
with the play, first there were soe greetings from a mayor of Bandung city and
from governor of West Java, we were exercise with some songs, there were H alo-Halo
Bandung and some other songs. Finally, the test was began, the jury was from
muri record and world record, we played We Are The World by Micheal Jackson.
And we can break the Muri Recod! But the world record must be discussed first
in England.
It was a really amazing day. There was 20.000 Bandung
citizen assamle and together we played Angklung, our proudly music instrument.
So lets show to the world that Angklung is our, our music
instrument, our love.
